We are building a lot of Big Block Chevy street engines in last month. This 427 is 30 over with a small cam. First dyno pulls after break in managed 457 HP and 480 lbs TQ. The customer was very pleased with the out come.
Demolition derbys sure have changed since I was a kid. Gone are the junkyard engines. Now days derby cars have a purpose built engine like this SB Chevy 350. This particular one produced 365 HP and 391 LBS Torque.
This little number produced 770 HP @ 6400 RPM and 670 LBS of torque. Specs. include 14:1 compression, Brodix BB3X heads with an in house port and polish. Race gas is the only option as this engine will be chasing the quarter mile in a Monte Carlo.
Well while our favorite Snap-on man was out hunting we decided to Dyno his new engine and send him a video to show him what he was missing at our shop which was 598 HP and 558 LBS of TQ. Not bad for a pump gas engine. I think Rick and his Mustang will both…
A while back a Father and son came to the shop with a 429 Ford. We performed all the machine work and they did the final assembly. The engine is now complete and back for Engine Dyno breakin and a few test pulls. 412 HP and 481 pounds of torque.
