Demolition derbys sure have changed since I was a kid. Gone are the junkyard engines. Now days derby cars have a purpose built engine like this SB Chevy 350. This particular one produced 365 HP and 391 LBS Torque.
This Buick 340 was a stock restore rebuild. The customer will be installing this in a 1967 Skylark. Back in the day these engines produced around 300 HP.
This little number produced 770 HP @ 6400 RPM and 670 LBS of torque. Specs. include 14:1 compression, Brodix BB3X heads with an in house port and polish. Race gas is the only option as this engine will be chasing the quarter mile in a Monte Carlo.
